Pony Rides For Any Occasion
We provide hand-led pony rides by skilled operators to ensure a safe, fun experience for riders. Our ponies are calm and friendly and come in multiple sizes. We will ask questions to determine which pony – or ponies – will be best suited for your event. We can even dress your pony up as a UNICORN (assorted color ponies will be used). For lots of kids and/or more photo opportunities, add another pony! We even have full-sized horses if you want a pony AND a horse! Add a mobile petting zoo and/or glitter tattoos for combo pricing and extra fun.
Mobile Petting Zoo Parties
Our mobile petting zoo comes in four sizes and includes 3–6 pens of lovable, friendly animals to pet and enjoy! Each setup features a fun mix of farm favorites, which may include:

Founder and Chief Equine Officer
Clare Taylor founded It’s A Party in 2011 with just one pony and a dream to share her love of horses with children and families across New Jersey. Over the years, Clare has provided pony rides, mobile petting zoo parties, glitter tattoos, and kids’ event entertainment for everything from backyard birthdays to school fairs, church events, summer camps, and community festivals.
Known locally as “The Pony Lady,” Clare has built a reputation for professionalism, safety, and fun. She studied Parelli Natural Horsemanship and trained with renowned equine expert Tommie Turvey, combining hands-on experience with advanced animal care knowledge.
Today, Clare and the It’s A Party team continue to bring smiles to families across New Jersey with safe, supervised pony rides and friendly farm animals. Her passion, expertise, and dedication keep loyal customers coming back year after year.

How do I reserve?
We kindly request a deposit of half via Zelle (other payment methods accepted as well) to reserve your date and time. Once your deposit is received, you will be put on our calendar!
What happens if there is inclement weather?
We will work with you if a concern arises. (We won’t mind getting a little wet or hot/cold! ) If you decide to cancel us due to the weather, your deposit will be good with us for a future date.
Do I need a large space?
We have worked in all types of spaces. Grass is always our first preference but we always find a space that works!
How far do you travel?
Give us a call or fill out the contact page and we will be happy to let you know if you are in our travel area. There is a travel fee over 20 miles from our location.
What’s included with your mobile petting zoo package?
3–6 pens of friendly animals and features a mix of goats/sheep, bunnies and ducks or chickens.
For a larger zoo, additional animals can be included such as a pig or mini mule/donkey and a mini pony (for petting only).
Do you offer packages for schools or large events?
Absolutely! We provide flexible packages for schools, summer camps, town festivals, senior centers, church events, and corporate gatherings. Whether your event is big or small, we can customize the experience.
